Sunnyslope Canal Grayling Population
Yep - you read the name of this population correctly, this is one of the most unique Arctic grayling populations in Montana. Arctic grayling live year-round in the concrete lined Sunnyslope Canal, one of the Greenfield Irrigation Districts large irrigation canals. This population is self-sustaining and produces some of the largest Arctic grayling we see in the lower 48 States. See pictures below to observe this population and their interesting habitat...!
